Kids Fall Harvest Festival

If you have young children and you're looking for one of the best of the kids fall events, look no further than the Kids Fall Harvest Festival at Firehouse Community Farm in Long Beach. This event will be held on October 1st. It features activities designed for children from 3 to 10 years old, including a pumpkin patch, a pumpkin derby race, crafts, and games. There will also be educational workshops that will teach kids about composting and beekeeping.

Boo at the L.A. Zoo

The Los Angeles Zoo is one of the area's leading attractions year-round, which is why there are so many fine hotels near LA Zoo. The L.A. Zoo celebrates Halloween with spooky decor during the entire month of October. Kids will also have trick-or-treat opportunities on designated days. Finally, the LA Zoo will host several Halloween-themed shows in October.

Halloween at Disneyland

Disneyland hosts special events for nearly every holiday, and Halloween is no exception. Disneyland's Halloween festivities take place from September 2nd through October 31st. Mickey, Minnie, and the other Disney characters will be dressed in special Halloween costumes. The Mansion will become the Haunted Mansion, with decor inspired by the hit movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Disneyland will also feature a Main Street pumpkin festival and even Halloween-themed fireworks on select nights. You can stay at one of the many family hotels in LA if you are coming from out of town for Halloween at Disneyland.

Halloween for Teenage Kids: Universal's Halloween Horror Nights

If your kids are a little older and want to do something more thrilling than trick-or-treating, Universal's Halloween Horror Nights are a good option. This event is recommended for kids who are 13 or older. Universal Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights run from September 8th to October 31st.
